Privacy policy

This policy explains what information the SelfIntroVideo website (selfintrovideo.com) and the SelfIntroVideo Android app use, and why. We keep it short and simple.

The website

The website has no sign-up, no forms and no comments. When you email us from the Contact page, we use your email only to reply to you.

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to understand how visitors use it: which pages are viewed, how far a page is scrolled, which buttons and links are clicked, and the device, browser and country of a visit. We may also switch on Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation). When it is on, Clarity also records clicks, scrolling and mouse movement as heatmaps and session replays; text typed into form fields is masked, and Microsoft may also use this data for advertising, as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. Both services use cookies and similar technologies.

We do not send your name, email address or anything you type to either service, and advertising features of Google Analytics are switched off. The page that receives Talent Tabloid sign-in information (/callback) never loads either service. Cookies

  • _ga and _ga_<ID>: Google Analytics, up to 2 years.
  • _clck (1 year), _clsk (1 day), CLID and MUID (1 year): Microsoft Clarity, only when it is switched on.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website still works without them.

The Android app

  • Talent Tabloid sign-in. You connect your Talent Tabloid account in a browser tab. The app stores the access it receives in encrypted storage on your phone. Disconnecting in the app removes it.
  • Your profile and your script. To write your script, the app reads your first name, target job, skills and work experience from your Talent Tabloid profile and sends them to Google's Gemini AI through Firebase AI Logic. The script comes back to the app.
  • Your videos. Recordings are saved inside the app on your phone. When you tap "Set as Intro Video", the video is uploaded to secure cloud storage (Google Firebase) and linked to your Talent Tabloid profile. When you delete it in the app, the app asks Talent Tabloid to remove it from your profile.
  • Camera and microphone. Used only while you record.
  • Backups. The app's data is not included in Android device backups.

Talent Tabloid has its own privacy policy for the information in your Talent Tabloid account.

Other websites we link to

Our pages link to other websites, such as Talent Tabloid, Build AI CV, PractiseNow and InterviewTraining.ai, and to government websites. Their own privacy policies apply there.
